EU Wide Licencing
Templar holds an Investment Advisory Services Licence, issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).
The European Union harmonises investment and insurance rules throughout the EU and EEA area, to support and improve best customer outcomes and increase consumer protection. Templar is recognised by the necessary authorities as committed to following these rules and is enabled to provide services to EU residents and EU expatriates worldwide (subject to local worldwide restrictions in some non-EU countries).

Malta Financial Services Authority. The MFSA is the single regulator for financial services activities in Malta. It regulates and supervises credit and financial institutions, investment, trust and insurance business’ and houses the Registry of Companies.

Markets in Financial Instruments Directive. Templar complies with the European Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). This provides a harmonised regulatory environment for investment services across the EEA. The main objectives of MiFID are to enhance financial transparency, increase competition, and offer greater consumer protection in investment services.
